MAINTAINING FABULOUS NAILS

Many women notice that their fingernails become stronger and grow more quickly during pregnancy, thanks to surging hormones. Take advantage of your new nails during these months of pregnancy by dressing them up in the season's hottest colors. Here are some tips for keeping them looking gorgeous.

Sheer and light colors are hot this season and won't show chips or worn ends as easily as darker colors. And for an easy-care, yet classy style, it's hard to beat a French manicure. But if you want to go a little crazy with the color, head south to your toes.

You can prolong the life of your manicure if you add a clear top coat to your polish every other day. This will keep your color looking fresh and fabulous for over a week, compared to the typical life of three to four days.

I was shocked at this article having no mention of the dangerous chemicals residing in normal nail polish... I they are absorbed through the nail bed and can affect the unborn baby's development. Why not simply recommend organic and chemical free polishes? They are found on multiple websites, and are affordable.
