HAIR COLOR TIPS

According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, coloring your hair during pregnancy is probably safe because very little hair dye is absorbed through your skin; however, many women prefer to err on the side of caution and go au natural until after the baby arrives. So what can you do to make your roots less conspicuous until your next coloring? Try one of these quick tips:

  1. Wear your hair wavy close to the roots. Straight hair will draw attention to the difference in color.

  2. Use a vegetable color touch-up stick to temporarily cover roots and blend your color.

  3. Use a color-enhancing shampoo and conditioner each day. Apply it thickly around the roots and let the conditioner set for 2 to 3 minutes.

why not foil? That way you can hilite or color and the color or bleach does not come in contact with your scalp. But as the comment stated before your hair could react differently due to being pregnant-esp the blondes.

Use semi-permane vegan hair dye. Works like a charm ;)

Unless you're using an exTReMEly oLd box of hair color (you shouldn't use box colors anyways, they're not good for your hair health, go to Sally's Beauty Supply) Coloring your hair is perfectly fine. U just have to be careful because the chemicals may not take to your hair like you expect because of all the bloody horMoNEs! lol!
